Job description
Do you have the experience of working in a pallet yard or similar? If so this could be the job for you.
We are looking for an experienced pallet repairer to work in a family run pallet yard. Repairing pallets using nail guns and hand tools. Full training will be given.
All repairers work in an outside yard and although your designated area would be undercover you would need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Job specification
- You will be working on a very fast paced production line/bench.
- You will be using a variety of hand tools, repairing pallets, minor fixes to full repair
Using a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets. - Pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced.
- In an assembly department you will stock boards and nails together, based on type of pallet desired.
- Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
- This work requires you to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift pallets, physical work.
- Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures.
