We are committed to encouraging staff to reduce their carbon impact when journeying to work. Where we are currently unable to reduce our carbon impact we will offset activities.
Transportation Routes
By efficiently organising our vehicle journeys and maximising load capacity and weight we can significantly reduce fuel consumption. A benefit to the environment and a reduction in costs to the business. No vehicle delivering or picking up pallets will make a single use journey.
Staff Engagement
Staff engagement and awareness is essential. Reducing the environmental impact businesses have on our planet needs commitment and effort from everyone. From recycling our waste and car sharing, to cycling to work and community projects everyone member of the team can make a difference.
Offsetting Emissions
We aim to be net zero by 2050. We have a lot to do and many improvements we need to make. We realise embedding sustainability into our culture and processes won’t happen overnight. We will continue to impact the environment but we can help offset this by planting 200 trees a month.
