Extending our reach beyond our business
Inclusion for all staff and the community we work in 3 pillars of better welfare
As well as committing to reducing our impact on the environment we are just as committed to improving the welfare of our team and the environment we work in.Â
Human Rights Approach
Human Rights are based on important principles like dignity, fairness, respect and equality. They are about the freedom to voice ideas openly, the right to a safe working environment, to fair remuneration and equal pay for equal work,.Â
Equality for All
Equality at JK Pallets means equal job opportunities and fairness for all employees and job applicants.
Treating people fairly no matter what sex, age, race or religion.
Community Engagement
We are committed to helping the community we work within. Currently we are involved with local charity Food Cycle. The team at JK Pallets volunteer weekly to provide a hot meal and chat to some of our community’s most vulnerable people.
Sustainable Development Goals
Here at JK Pallets we are aiming to align our business with the relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals. Several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are relevant to our operations, including:
